Manufacturer Provided Description

The Jongert 30T is a classic ketch with a fast underwater shape, which gives her a sparkling sailing performance. A specially designed moderate draught keel allows access to small harbors and shallow anchorages, and her perfectly crafted teak joinery and general air of quality satisfy the most stringent demands. The main saloon is connected to the deck saloon by an open gallery. The flood of natural light admitted through the full width windows creates a friendly atmosphere and gives an IMPRESSION of wide and comfortable space. The traditional large transom windows create an uniquely "Jongert" atmosphere and, together with the portlights in the hull, afford a 270-degree view. The large cockpit has seating for up to eight people and is the ideal place for meals al fresco or a well-deserved sun downer. Main and mizzen sails are fully battened for optimum sailing performance: a lazyjack system keeps them under control when being handed. Both foresails are furled hydraulically at the touch of a button. The outside steering position gives the helmsman an unobstructed view of the whole yacht. Additionally, there is a second steering position with a complete navigation area in the comfortable deckhouse with a 360-degree view. In the luxurious owner's suite there is a large double bed, a sofa, desk, retractable television center, and a spacious bathroom with a separate shower. Also in the after parts of the yacht there are two guest cabins each with large twin beds; each cabin features its own bathroom with a separate shower. Air conditioning in each cabin is individually adjustable. As well, privacy and quiet are ensured by a private passageway from the deckhouse, which separates the owner's and guest's accommodation from the crew area in the fore part of the yacht. The separate crew's area forward contains a professionally equipped galley, two double cabins, and a dinette; it also has separate access to the deck and engine room. Jongert B.V. Since 1953 Jongert has been building some of the best and prettiest sailing yachts in the world. In that time they have built more than 300 such yachts, each one setting new standards in technical innovation, fine craftsmanship, safety, and reliability. It is this combination of traditional Dutch shipbuilding skills and advanced technology that makes a Jongert different from any other yacht and a durable and lasting investment.
